Telsa Motors heads this year’s edition of Deloitte’s list of the Technology Fast 500.  Palo Alto Networks and Sagent Pharmaceuticals, Inc. follow up in second and third place, respectively.

The Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500 is an annual ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.  The award winners for 2012 were determined based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2007 to 2011.

Unified Payments, with total revenues of $59.5 million, has topped the 2012 edition of the Inc.5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Astrum Solar and Edge Solutions occupy second and third place, respectively. 

The list represents the most comprehensive look at one of the most important segments of the U.S. economy, its independent entrepreneurs, who are ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2008 and 2011.

Three Spanish companies, Privalia, Seprotec and Typsa, respectively occupy 8th, 31st and 48th place in Europe 500’s list of the ‘Top Growth Companies in Europe’ between 2006 and 2009.

The top European growth entrepreneurs featured in the ranking were awarded for their outstanding achievements in generating sustainable growth and jobs. Europe’s 500, in partnership with Dun & Bradstreet – a leading provider of international business information – compiled the list based on available data for approximately 4.5 million companies in the EU.
