MBA’s Give Business Advice in The Capstone Project 2016

Launched in 2008, the Capstone Project brings IESE MBA students into contact with businesses. Companies involved get valuable insight and innovative ideas, while our students have the chance to help solve a real problem at a real company.

The Capstone Project is suitable for working with challenging integrative problems (requiring a general management perspective) that are global in nature. Some of the challenges tackled in previous years have included designing a product launch, a new market entrance and a social media strategy, and assessing the succession plan of a family business. In the first stage, an IESE faculty member helps define the problem. In the next stage, the company will make a presentation of the company and its problem to four teams of MBA students. Finally, when the students complete their work, the company executives will attend a presentation on the problem by the students.

This year 9 companies participated in the capstone project: Airbnb, Altadis, Espuña, Fundacion Vicente Ferrer, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, ISDIN, Nestlé, Roche Farma y Schneider Electric

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2016 Capstone Project (featured picture)! The award´s ceremony took place this month on IESE´s Campus.
