Biography


Burçin Güçlü is a Master of Research in Management (MRM) candidate in the Department of Marketing, IESE Business School. She is a research assistant to Prof. Stefan Stremersch, under whose supervision she is conducting her studies.

Regarding her research, she is interested in quantitative methods in marketing, currently working on the applications of behavioral decision theory to managerial issues in marketing. She will be on leave as a visiting research student in Erasmus School of Economics, Rotterdam, from February till May.

Previously, she earned BA degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Koç University, enrolling in Dean’s Honor. During her undergraduate studies, she also held teaching assistant positions for Quantitative Methods in Business and Operations Management courses.

Born in Istanbul, she is Turkish and a graduate of Robert College. Fascinated by literature, economics, econometrics and statistics, she enjoys skiing, sailing, figure skating, scuba diving and travelling. She is fluent in English and French, and has a moderate level of German and Spanish.
