Biography
Patricio is a Ph.D. candidate at IESE Business School doctoral program, and his research interests are related with processes of organizational change and innovation, and their relation with institutional logics, strategy, and management control systems.
Prior to joining academia he served for more than twelve years as a manager in positions in strategic planning, innovation, finance, technology and management control, and has been invited as speaker to present his experience in successful project implementation to the ASUG Conference held in New Orleans, USA, and also to both the MBA program and the School of Engineering at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
This extensive experience as a practitioner has been enriched and complemented in later years by the theoretical formation and practical training in research received at IESE.
Patricio holds a Master of Research in Management from IESE Business School, and a MBA from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Previously he earned his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
Currently he is working with his advisor, professor Antonio Dávila, in the PCCI Research Project, a study that explores processes of change and institutional innovation in 24 organizations located in Europe, South-America, and Asia.
