{"id":1171,"date":"2015-06-17T12:00:07","date_gmt":"2015-06-17T11:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.iese.edu\/africa\/?p=1171"},"modified":"2016-10-27T15:28:43","modified_gmt":"2016-10-27T14:28:43","slug":"sub-saharan-africa-a-road-map-to-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.iese.edu\/africa\/2015\/06\/17\/sub-saharan-africa-a-road-map-to-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Sub-Saharan Africa: A Road Map to Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>This week I\u2019m writing from Nairobi.<\/strong> It\u2019s been a bit less than a year since I left, and I needed to get my \u201cshot of Africa.\u201d I arrived early on Sunday morning, and I could soon hear familiar song from a nearby church. <strong>Singing and dancing is an important part of African cultures (note the plural!)<\/strong>: \u201cwithout motion, there\u2019s no emotion,\u201d as they say.
