The OECD Economics Department has just launched a new report, “The Political Economy of Reform: Lessons from Pensions, Product Markets and Labour Markets in Ten OECD Countries.” The study examines why some policy reforms get implemented while others languish, by examining 20 structural reform efforts in 10 OECD countries over the past 20 years. The case studies cover a wide variety of reform attempts in three areas: pensions, labor and product-market regulation.

The report is available to the IESE Community here.
