The Spanish, together with the Swedes, are the Europeans who most connect to the internet from their mobiles. In fact, as much as 16 percent of the country’s internauts surf the net from their mobile phone while the European average stands at only 7 percent, according to the findings of the eEspaña 2010 report published by the Orange Foundation.
The study analyzes the evolution of the information society in Spain, finding that the country has strengthened its position over the last year. Spain now lies in 15th place overall, having now reached the EU average of digital inclusion.
