Alcoholic Drinks and an Aging Population

(CC) Lynda Giddens / FlickrDatamonitor 360 has just published a report titled “Alcoholic Drinks and an Aging Population.” Consumers aged 50 or over represent an attractive and significant market for alcoholic drinks. It’s now time to start paying more attention to them, for two main reasons: i) they already represent a large section of society, and their numbers are growing; ii) they tend to be more affluent and enjoy food, drinks, and convivial experiences. This report provides crucial insights and analysis of the aging population and alcohol consumption.

The full-text of the report is available on the web to members of the IESE community.
