For the first time Google topped the list as the number one company, followed by SAS, NetApp, Microsoft and W.L. Gore. Kimberly Clark, Marriott, Diageo, National Instruments and Cisco rounded out the top 10.
The Spanish companies BBVA and Telefónica are recognized among the 25 best multinationals to work, earning 13th and 16th place respectively. While it is the first time for BBVA on the list, Telefónica has featured for the last three consecutive years, although this year it moved down three places.
Great Place to Work selected the world’s best employers from nearly 6,200 companies from 45 different countries that participated in Best Workplace competitions from late 2012 to mid-2013.
