Your business has touch points all over the world, so it’s a good idea to know where risks are most likely to play out as your business expands. With the help of Zurich’s Risk Room data, Bloomberg’s ranking of emerging market economies paints a view from the mountaintop of risk in emerging markets, and then drills down into a specific risk ranking of 43 emerging market countries in order, from riskiest to least risky.
According to the ranking, Venezuela is the riskiest emerging market for businesses, followed by Nigeria and Egypt in second and third position respectively. The riskiest country for Europe is Ukraine, in sixth position.
