Arizona State University Biodesign Institute researcher Charles Arntzen has been chosen as the No. 1 honoree among Fast Company’s annual “100 Most Creative People in Business” for his leadership role in developing ZMapp, a therapeutic produced in tobacco to fight Ebola. The top five is rounded out (in descending order) by Rajan Anandan, Vice President and Managing Director (India and Southeast Asia) at Google; Dao Nguyen, Publisher for Buzzfeed; Maria Claudia Lacouture, President of Procolombia; and Jens Bergensten, Lead Creative Designer of Minecraft.
The 2015 honorees work within a vast range of industries, from tech and design to entertainment, media, government and non-profit, healthcare, and food, and they span the world from China to India, Colombia, and Iran.
