Switzerland, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and the US are the world’s five most innovative nations, according to the Global Innovation Index 2015, jointly published by WIPO, Cornell University and INSEAD Business School. Spain ranks 27th.
The study ranked 141 economies across the world on their innovation capacity and efficiency. Of the economies surveyed, the top 25 members have not changed since 2011, excluding one country, and not considering rank.
