(CC) Dan Mason/FlickrLast month Ethisphere unveiled the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2016, which includes 131 companies from 21 countries and 45 industries.

The organization has over 10 years’ experience of analyzing and evaluating the ethical performance of companies across a whole range of dimensions, including social behavior, integrity and transparency. Ethisphere has also developed the Ethics Quotient, a standard that evaluates a company’s degree of ethical involvement.

Iberdrola was the only Spanish entrant in the 2016 list.
