V Spanish Reform Monitor

FreeimagesThe main reforms of the Spanish economy are still pending, with the sole exception of those in the financial arena, which is the only area given a passing grade by the experts consulted in the fifth Spanish Reform Monitor, jointly published by IESE and the Spanish Savings Bank Foundation (Funcas).

The experts’ overall evaluation of the Spanish economy has deteriorated since the previous quarter, from 4.4 out of 10 to 4.2.

The monitor provides quantitative assessments of three aspects of the Spanish economy: its performance, the soundness of the policy objectives adopted by the Spanish government and the progress achieved by the reforms passed.
