Women in the Food Industry

Women account for the vast majority of food-purchasing decisions in the United States and also make up almost half the entry-level workforce in the food industry, yet women are underrepresented across the board above this level.

Where does the sector stand when it comes to gender equality? This report by McKinsey looks closely at employee experiences as well as policies and programs the industry has implemented to promote diversity.
