He is also the Academic Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iese.edu\/faculty-research\/initiatives\/institute-sustainability-leadership\/\">IESE Institute for Sustainability Leadership<\/a>. His current research explores the emergence of responsible and impact investing in the financial sector.<\/p>\n<p>Previously he studied the institutionalization of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), robust action strategies to tackle grand challenges and the role of economics language in organizing. His work has been published in <em>Administrative Science Quarterly<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Academy of Management Review<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Academy of Management Journal<\/em>, <em>Business Ethics Quarterly, <\/em><em>Organization Science<\/em>,\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Organization Studies,\u00a0<\/em>among others.<\/p>\n<p>He received the 2005, 2019, and 2022 IESE Prize for Excellence in Research, the 2006 Best Paper Award from the <em>Academy of Management Review,<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a02017\u00a0<em>Roland Calori Price<\/em> for the Best Paper published in Organization Studies. His research on responsible investing in the main financial markets has been supported by a five-year grant (2011-2015) of the European Research Council. He is Associate Editor at the <em>Administrative Science Quarterly <\/em>and serves or has served as a member of the editorial board of <em>Administrative Science Quarterly<\/em>, <em>Academy of Management Review, Organization Studies, Business &amp; Society, Academy of Management Discovery<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>European Management Review<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>His teaching in the MBA, EMBA, GEMBA, AMP and other Executive Education programs is primarily focused on strategic leadership, strategy execution and sustainability leadership.
