Launched in 2008, the Capstone Project brings\u00a0IESE MBA students into contact with businesses.\u00a0Companies involved get valuable insight and\u00a0innovative ideas, while our students have the chance\u00a0to help solve a real problem at a real company.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Capstone Project is suitable for working with\u00a0challenging integrative problems (requiring a general\u00a0management perspective) that are global in nature.\u00a0Some of the challenges tackled in previous years have\u00a0included designing a product launch, a new market\u00a0entrance and a social media strategy, and assessing the\u00a0succession plan of a family\u00a0business.\u00a0In the first stage, an IESE faculty member helps define the problem. In the next stage, the company will\u00a0make a presentation of the company and its problem to\u00a0four teams of MBA students. Finally, when the students\u00a0complete their work, the company executives will attend\u00a0a presentation on the problem by the students.<\/p>\n
