{"id":358,"date":"2015-01-26T10:06:38","date_gmt":"2015-01-26T09:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.iese.edu\/mba\/?p=358"},"modified":"2015-04-24T11:04:06","modified_gmt":"2015-04-24T10:04:06","slug":"mba-7-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.iese.edu\/mba\/mba-7-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"IESE\u2019s MBA, no. 7 in the World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am happy to share with you that the Financial Times (FT) has ranked the IESE MBA 7<sup>th<\/sup> in the world again this year.\u00a0<a class=\"inline-twitter-link inline-tweet-click\" href=\"#\" onclick=\"inline_tweet_sharer_open_win('https:\\\/\\\/twitter.com\\\/intent\\\/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.iese.edu%2Fmba%2Fwp-json%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fposts%2F358%2F&text=2015+marks+our+fifth+consecutive+top-ten+ranking+by+the+FT+');\" title=\"Tweet This!\">2015 marks our fifth consecutive top-ten ranking by the FT <span class=\"dashicons dashicons-twitter dashicons-inline-tweet-sharer\"><\/span><\/a> and this happily coincides with the 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the <a title=\"IESE's Full-Time MBA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iese.edu\/en\/mba\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">MBA Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The FT ranking surveyed the class of 2011 with respect to several dimensions that measure the impact the MBA had on their careers. Let me highlight some of the results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our graduates report the highest level of <em>aims achieved<\/em> of a top-ten school (jointly with LBS). This outcome is much appreciated for a program that as you know tries to stimulate personal growth and success along many dimensions.<\/li>\n<li>Alumni of the class of 2011 are also extremely happy with the career progress they have been able to make thanks to the MBA (8<sup>th<\/sup> worldwide \u2013 3<sup>rd<\/sup> among top-ten MBA programs).<\/li>\n<li>The IESE MBA comes in first in <em>international course experience<\/em>. This reflects the effort over the past years to provide high quality overseas modules in New York, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Nairobi, putting emphasis on practical learning experiences through local company projects.<\/li>\n<li>An IESE MBA continues to be associated with strong salary increases: <a class=\"inline-twitter-link inline-tweet-click\" href=\"#\" onclick=\"inline_tweet_sharer_open_win('https:\\\/\\\/twitter.com\\\/intent\\\/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.iese.edu%2Fmba%2Fwp-json%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fposts%2F358%2F&text=Our+graduates+experienced+an+average+salary+increase+of+121%25%2C+the+highest+among+the+top-ten+MBAs+');\" title=\"Tweet This!\">Our graduates experienced an average salary increase of 121%, the highest among the top-ten MBAs <span class=\"dashicons dashicons-twitter dashicons-inline-tweet-sharer\"><\/span><\/a> and 5<sup>th<\/sup> worldwide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Needless to say, an MBA program experience is much more than a set of numbers.
