Business Libraries Benchmarking

The latest results of the European Business School Librarians Group (EBSLG) Statistics Survey were presented at the EBSLG Joint Conference in Vienna, under the theme “Finding Possibility in Uncertainty: Libraries Embracing the Future.” The event took place at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business from May 19 to 22, 2025, bringing together business school library directors from North America (ABLD), Asia-Pacific (APBSLG), South and Central America (CLADEA), and Europe (EBSLG).

“EBSLG Statistics Survey: A Tool for Benchmarking European Business School Libraries” was presented by Josep Soler (ESADE) and Carina Huguet (IESE) exclusively for the EBSLG members. The initiative, now in its first edition, serves as a strategic tool for collecting comparable data from business school libraries. It supports benchmarking, helps identify trends, and informs data-driven decision-making.

The survey’s analysis provides a shared foundation for understanding how our business school libraries operate and evolve, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement across institutions.
