EMIS, the essential database for people working in or with so-called emerging markets or economies, has just enhanced its contents and search tool. Particularly noteworthy is its massive expansion of Africa-related content. African companies’ coverage has been expanded from 4,300+ to over 530,000 profiles, largely as a result of adding 20 new countries to their country coverage, which more than doubles EMIS Africa’s regional coverage to 54 countries. The EMIS Africa service now delivers 2,500 news stories every day and 7,000 research reports a year.
You can access hard to find financial statements, company information, industry analysis, country reports, risk analysis, macroeconomic statistics, M&A and ECM news and market-specific information. The service includes a number of “tools” to benchmark indicators or company rankings, and a cross-country comparison tool, which allows you to compare several countries on a wide range of parameters such as growth, consumer price index, FDI and equity market indexes.
EMIS operates in and reports on countries where high reward goes hand-in-hand with high risk.
