Follow these steps to perform a peer analysis:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Search for the Company:<\/strong><br \/>\n-Enter the company name in the search box and press <em>Enter<\/em>.<br \/>\n-If multiple entities appear, select the correct one. Once the company report is displayed, click on <strong>Peer Comparison<\/strong> in the left-hand menu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Retrieve the Default Peer Group:<\/strong><br \/>\n-By default, Orbis will display the 10 closest international companies based on the <strong>Operating Revenue (Turnover)<\/strong> of the subject company for the latest available year.<br \/>\n-If no results appear, try selecting a previous year for comparison.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Customize the Peer Group:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo refine your analysis, click on <strong>Own Peer Group<\/strong>. This allows you to:<br \/>\n-Change the operating year.<br \/>\n-Adjust the size of the peer group (national or international).<br \/>\n-Select a different financial variable for grouping the companies.<\/p>\n<p>Additional options, such as <strong>Accounting Period<\/strong> or <strong>Add\/Remove Columns<\/strong>, can further tailor your analysis. Once finalized, click <em>OK.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Create Your Own Peer Group:<\/strong><br \/>\nIf the default peer group lacks focus, creating your own peer group is recommended. Build a search strategy with the criteria that fit your needs on the Orbis search page and retrieve the list of companies.<br \/>\nAfter defining the group:<br \/>\n-Click on <strong>Tools<\/strong> in the left-hand menu.<br \/>\n-Select <strong>Peer Analysis &gt; Go To<\/strong>.<br \/>\n-Choose one of the default peer analysis formats or create a new one by clicking on <strong>Create New<\/strong>.<br \/>\nYou can also modify the variables in the default formats to better suit your analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
