\nImportant!<\/span> You must sign up\u00a0<\/a>first for a Google Scholar Citations profile to track citations of your articles.<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/strong><\/span>Abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, including scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Scopus retrieves and analyzes academic citations.<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/strong><\/span>Search for journal articles, conference proceedings and citations across a very broad range of subjects relating to science, technology, social sciences and medicine. WoS retrieves and analyzes academic citations.<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/strong><\/span>Publish or Perish is a software program that retrieves and analyzes academic citations. It uses Google Scholar<\/a> and Microsoft Academic Search<\/a> to obtain the raw citations, then analyzes these and presents some metrics.<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/strong><\/span>Web of Science uses the H-Index to quantify research output by measuring author productivity and impact. H-Index = number of papers (h<\/em>) with a citation number \u2265 h<\/em>.<\/p>\n
