Biography

Eduard Talamàs joined IESE Business School as an Assistant Professor of Economics in 2019. Eduard teaches Global Economics in various programs at IESE, including the MBA and Executive MBA. In 2022, Poets&Quants selected him to be one of the best 40 under 40 MBA professors.

Eduard obtained his Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University under the supervision of Benjamin Golub. Before joining IESE, he was a Warren Center postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, hosted by Rakesh Vohra. Since 2020, Eduard is a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research.

Eduard studies strategic interactions in matching markets and economic networks, with a focus on investment and bargaining. His research has been published in Games and Economic Behavior, and it has been funded by Fundación Ramón Areces, “La Caixa” Foundation, The Foundations of Human Behavior Initiative and The Rockefeller Foundation.
