The Research Projects Unit is part of the Research Division of IESE and its purpose is to develop competence and best practices in public calls, support fundraising for research projects at IESE and foster successful research project management. The Unit helps IESE Faculty identify appropriate sources of funding and prepare budgets as well as advising on the proposal submission and assisting on the follow-up of projects. Since 2009, the unit has helped IESE Faculty obtain more than €17 million euros for over 200 research projects funded via open calls.
The selection criteria for scientific excellence often includes bibliometric indexes of publications done by the researchers applying for funding. IESE Library can help with finding such information to include in faculty CVs, as well as providing counselling related to the ORCID, Researcher ID and SCOPUS numbers necessary for applying for research grants.
