The Global VC/PE Country Attractiveness Index 2012

IESE has launched the 2012 edition of its Global Venture Capital and Private Equity Country Attractiveness Index study, which measures the relative attractiveness of a country for investors in Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) limited partnerships.

The United States tops the ranking, followed by Canada, Britain, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland.

The survey’s authors group the factors that are vital for private equity and venture capital investors in making investment decisions into six sub-chapters: economic activity, depth of the capital market, taxation, investor protection and corporate governance, human and social environment, and entrepreneurial culture and deal opportunities.
