According to the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) London has overtaken New York as the best city in the world to make investments in real estate. Madrid and Munich appeared among the top ten global cities, eclipsing Washington, D.C.
The US remains the most stable and secure country for investment by a wide margin of more than 50 percentage points over the second country, Germany.
Spain was named the second best country for capital appreciation, receiving 21.1% of the votes.
