Ford has claimed the #1 spot in Interbrand’s 2014 Best Global Green Brands report. Toyota drops to second place, followed by fellow Asian car manufacturer Honda. The Spanish company Zara is on the top 50 ranked in 34th position.
The Best Green Global Brands report seeks to capture everything that brands do to make the world a better place. According to the Global CEO of Interbrand, Jez Frampton, each constituent part of society (businesses, consumers, employees, providers, governments and investors) need to be more involved and willing to do their bit to take sustainability practices and the concept of corporate sustainability to the next level.
