Nine out of ten German companies describe the economic situation in Spain as good or satisfactory while six out of ten expect it to continue improving throughout 2018 and 2019. These are some of the main findings of a new survey jointly prepared by the German-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and IESE’s International Center for Competitiveness.
The results of the survey, conducted on a sample of 769 Spanish companies with German share capital, reflect the overall confidence German investors have in the continued good performance of the Spanish economy. Almost 57% of respondents expect the Spanish economy to improve in 2018; this percentage rises slightly regarding the outlook for 2019.
