Use the Refinitiv Workspace Value Chain app to evaluate risks in a company’s supply chain and its business impact on a portfolio or investment idea, identify consolidation opportunities and find competitive intelligence about a company’s peers.

To access it, go to Refinitiv Workspace and type VCHAINS after a company code (e.g. BA VCHAINS).
• The Confidence Score displays the level of certainty of the relationship
• Click the Question Mark Icons to view definitions for data items
• View information across the complete supply chain or filter the view to suppliers or customers
• Highlight a company from the results list – the company’s Business Summary and peer information will be populated at the bottom of the page.

This information is also available in two other viewing formats:
• Tree View – Visualize a company’s customers and suppliers by industry, and quickly identify credit risks. You can drill down through four industry classification levels
• Geographic Breakdown – Easily identify where the customers and suppliers listed in the results are located (headquarters only) and view their industry breakdowns

The Value Chains app offers an in-depth view of over 19,000 companies and their relationships with customers and suppliers, as well as associated risks and opportunities.
