Action Research

Verbideas research focuses its efforts on action research* activities in order to develop practical effectiveness.

The desire to help companies in their challenges, however difficult they may seem, can lead to stable agreements with some that, valuing this double contribution, lend themselves to collaboration for growth, transformation and the creation of new ways of management that result in goods and values for companies and their people.

Management research may also require new sources of well-structured evidence to develop products, test their effectiveness, then sell them and know how to apply them. Testing new theories and tools in management, with rigor and relevance, with an adequate support infrastructure and a consistent evaluation framework, can also be interesting as a business school.

*“Action research is a method for analyzing problems and generating two contributions: enriching theory and offering practical solutions to the problem studied. As a meta-methodology it presents advantages and opportunities such as being able to test theories, which is of interest to management research in general”.
