I am an Associate Professor of Finance at IESE Business School, the academic director of Citi-IESE CREDET, an academic committee member of IESE’s Center for International Finance, and a research fellow at the IESE Banking Initiative, the IESE Center for Corporate Governance, and IESE’s Public-Private Research Center.

My recent research projects focus on the channels through which banks exert an influence on the real economy, the corporate governance of banks, banking regulation, the foundations of interbank markets, and the interaction of banks’ capital structure and investment choices.

I am teaching Banking, Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Operational Finance, in IESE’s MBA, MiM, Executive MBA, Global Executive MBA, and executive education programs.
