Dear Incoming IESE MiM Class of 2023…

Our names are Konsti and Maria and we are the MiM Class President and Vice President of 2022! As class representatives, we are excited to officially welcome you to the IESE Community! This 11-month program will be challenging but extremely rewarding and fun, and we are sure it will be a transformative experience for you. To help you make the most of your time here, we wanted to take this opportunity to share some tips with you:

1. In contrast to the lectures we had as part of our previous degrees, participation really is valued much higher here. Prepare for class discussions, bring interesting insights to lectures and don’t shy away from making yourself heard. Your perspective is important, and spirited discussions benefit the entire class!

2. Take advantage of the extensive IESE alumni network – we and all other alumni have been in your shoes before. It helps a lot to get insights from previous years’ students and connect with the IESE alumni that already experienced getting started in whichever career you are looking to enter. Feel free to reach out if you want!

3. Over the past year we’ve gotten to know some really incredible people amongst our classmates. While there is a lot of work to do at times, remember to take time for personal relationships. Be yourself and invest time in finding connections that matter.

Beyond that, one of our favourite aspects of the program is how passionate the professors are. Their expertise is incredible, and they go above and beyond to set us up for our careers, always available for any queries or concerns. Even after the program, we know they will be happy to help when we have questions or need support.

As a final note, we encourage you to connect with your fellow classmates before arriving on campus. We did the same thing last year and it was a great way to get to know each other ahead of arriving in Madrid and to prepare for the start of courses.

Wishing you success in the program and hope to meet you in Madrid soon,

Konsti and Maria
