Entrepreneurship is a key element within the IESE‘s history and within IESE’s programs. Students and participants learn how to become creative and successful leaders within firms, as well as in their own enterprises, through specific courses and activities.
Entrepreneurship has always been prominent in IESE’s academic work and to this end, IESE created the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, EIC. It combines the interests of entrepreneurs, investors, faculty, participants, students, former Alumni and anyone wishing to start a new business or invest in new business projects. In addition, IESE carries out activities that support entrepreneurship locally, in Europe and beyond.
With a focus on new venture creation, intrapreneurship and entrepreneurial management within existing organizations, the Entrepreneurship department fosters the entrepreneurial spirit. It is this spirit that has led a third of IESE’s alumni to participate in the creation of a company at some point during their career.
