The boundaries between the physical and digital are disappearing and as this expansion continues China will be in the vanguard. By 2015 some 680 million Chinese will be connected to the Internet and that same year three times as many smartphones will be sold in China than in the U.S. and most of them will be manufactured locally.
i’ve never understood the reason why Chinese people use digital products with relative ease as compared to other countries, is there a correlation between this and educational levels in china as compared to the rest of the world or is it because china is just a big country so even though their figures are relative to other nations the sheer numbers involved make it so that china matters. or maybe its the fact that they produce most of their technology in local languages
what has made china so ready for the digital economy, is it their literacy rates, their education system, this continent of a country just boggles my mind
