2013: IT’s Convergence Year

Companies that want to succeed in 2013 will have to learn how to manage four key pillars of IT in an integrated manner, effectively bringing together cloud, mobility, social media and big data. IESE’s Josep Valor predicts we will see more integrators than hardware manufacturers, because people are looking for complete not partial solutions.

He received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT, and his Sc.D. in Medical Engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.   2. That’s an informative post. I totally agree with the four key pillers you mentioned. As you said there are so many big and small companies are emerging online as well as offline, and this tip would be a great benefit for them.

  3. The four key pillars you mentioned is a good starting point. Yet is a bit of a daunting task for so called smaller companies.
