IESE Business School honored for outstanding entrepreneurship support in Madrid

We are delighted to share that IESE Business School has been awarded the Special Mention for the ‘organization that best supports entrepreneurship in Madrid’ by Madrid’s Family Business Association (ADEFAM). This award recognizes the continued commitment and positive impact of IESE’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, which aims to create a positive impact on society through thought leadership and support for entrepreneurs, innovators and investors.

Each year, 1,400 IESE students receive support from the school’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. To date, $14.8 billion in capital has been raised by new companies founded by alumni, startups that have generated more than 100,000 jobs in recent years. In addition, 30 percent of IESE alumni start a company within five years of graduation.

Professor Mª Julia Prats received the award on behalf of IESE at the Auditorio Beatriz in Madrid. Highlights of the event are captured in this video. From IESE and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, we would like to thank ADEFAM for giving us this recognition and congratulate the companies and entities awarded in this edition of the ADEFAM 2024 Awards for their well-deserved recognition. They are Sagital Facility Services, AccessibleMadrid, ENPLAST, and ANSORENA.

Congratulations to all of them!
