BYOD: Innovation for Added Value

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is about using readily available technology – such as smart phones and free – inside an organization, explains IESE’s Javier Zamora.

The question is: Now that every company has access to sophisticated technology, how can BYOD help not only lower costs but also add value?

About Javier Zamora

Javier Zamora is currently senior lecturer in the Department of Information Systems. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and his M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He holds also a PDG from IESE.

  1. byod device gives headaches to the it department when deploying inhouse technologies on mobile devices , but its a necessary evil i guess
