Going Beyond the Task

Going beyond the task is a moto. Going beyond the tasks allows you to increase the content and the creativity of your work while contributing to the overall business. If you want to go beyond the task then follow these three steps:

  1. Perform your taskwell. Do it and do it right.
  2. Understand your business and your role within the business
  3. Contribute to the business by extending your task.

By doing this, you will be able to change your job – and that of others – from a task to a responsibility. You will change the work environment and become the kind of boss you would like to have.

  1. Amazing as it may sound it turns out to be true that we are essentially not rational animals but rationalizing animals. It means that we try to make sense of what we do, instead of doing what really makes sense.
